Our Story

The Farke Knight Rises FC was established in 2019, founded by Lee Clark. The clubs unique name was based on Lee’s character “The Farke Knight”, who he often appears as at home games of Norwich City FC while also raising more money for multiple charities.

Why Was The Farke Knight Rises FC Created?

The Knights were formed when the oragnisers of Southend’s Leisure League contacted Lee and asked if he wanted to form a 7-a-side club to assist with his fundraising activities.

This allowed Lee and the team to play as part of the 7-a-side league, with the subs raised by the squad each week all going to a chosen charity by the club.

When Do The Farke Knight Rises FC Play?

The team play as part of Leisure Leagues 7-a-side league at the Len Forge Centre in Southend every Sunday. The team has been able to grow in two squads of The Farke Knight Rises FC and the Farke Knight 2nds who play in separate divisions each week.

More recently, the Knights have formed an 11-a-side team that play friendly’s on a monthly basis against other local squads (both charity and local teams) with all proceeds going to charity.
